Affiliation Procedure

The Rudolph Kwanue University College (RKUC) processes applications for institutional affiliation through the following steps:

  1. Submission of Application
    The applying college/institution submits a formal application to the Registrar or Chancellor of RKUC.

  2. Acknowledgment and Request for Documents
    Upon receipt of the application, RKUC acknowledges it and requests the applying college/institution to submit the following:

    • An authorization letter from the National Commission on Higher Education (NCHE) Board.
    • Copies of the institution’s legal documents, including its statute, student handbook, and strategic plan.
    • Programme document(s) for the specific programme(s) seeking affiliation.

  3. Payment of Affiliation Processing Fee
    The applying institution is required to pay a non-refundable affiliation processing fee of $500 USD.

  4. Programme Assessment
    The submitted programme documents are forwarded to the supervising department or faculty for thorough assessment.

  5. Inter-Faculty Review
    The programme report is presented before the Inter-Faculty Committee on Institutional Affiliation for review.

  6. Institutional Visit
    RKUC schedules an on-site visit to the applying institution to evaluate its facilities and operations.

  7. Submission of Affiliation Report
    An affiliation report is submitted to the Chancellor for review and approval. If the Committee’s report is favorable, a request is made for a letter of affiliation for the applying institution.

  8. Issuance of Affiliation Letter
    RKUC issues the letter of affiliation to the institution, along with a copy of the affiliation guidelines document. This document outlines the moderation processes, monitoring procedures, and financial obligations associated with the affiliation.

  9. Payment of Full Affiliation Fee
    The applying institution must pay the full affiliation fee of $3,000 USD to secure a five-year affiliation status with RKUC.

Current Affiliations

Several colleges and institutions currently hold affiliation with Rudolph Kwanue University College for the purpose of awarding diplomas and degrees under the University’s name.
